Yankees Getting Things Going!

Chill out folks, I know Joba has only had 1 good start - but he did pitch better and it may be a sign of things. Obviously time will tell, but I need to make the blog interesting and can't wait until midseason to write a post because we always need to wait and see.

It seems that Melky will be the center fielder for the forseeable future. Please note that I suggested that numerous times over the past few months. There was no reason that a career .226 hitter with as many strikeouts as hits (42 a pop) should start over a solid 9th hitter in Melky.

The Yankees need to take alot of pitches against the Angels starters and then capitalize off the super-crappy bullpen that the Angels deploy.

Teixeira needs to get some hits in big spots before the boos get really loud! Johnny Damon really can't throw. Without exaggeration, I think he will let up at least 1 extra base per game in the outfield thanks to that awful throwing arm.
