Tom Watson got off to a poor (pressure filled) start that was explained by Jack Nicklaus as a combination of both nerves and age not allowing an older golfer to have proper feel for the club in pressure moments.
However, talk about choking. Ross Fisher, a little known English golfer was all of the sudden up 2 strokes through 3 holes this morning... and then... bam! The bottom fell out. Bogey, Quad, Par, Bogey, Bogey! The moment he looked at the scoreboard and said to himself "Holy @#$%, I'm actually winning", he collapsed. Hope he enjoyed the 15 minutes.
